Traditional Chinese Medicine contains a wealth of information relief of pain and headache remedies headache, treatment and techniques. Like acupressure, breathing exercises are easy to make and can be the remedy for that headache pain you need.
Both acupressure and breathing exercises are safe, natural headache relief techniques that can be used in conjunction with treatment of headaches or other drugs. If you have any concerns though, check with your health professional first. It is also recommended that you combine the techniques, regardless of whether you suffer from occasional tension headaches or chronic headaches or migraine. Prevention is key – do not wait until you get another migraine head-sharing start using these techniques. Apply them when you do not have a headache or if you feel one coming on and perhaps you can prevent its development.

1. Once you locate a point with your fingers or thumbs, push up what you feel no more pain than comfort. Hold the pressure while you rub the point for 1-2 minutes in very small circular movements, then release gentle pressure. To do this, 2-3 times per day as a preventive and whenever you have a headache or feel a development.
2. If a point is very sensitive, this indicates an underlying imbalance or a problem and pressing it a good thing. Just release pressure slightly and in time it will become less painful.
3. Acupressure points to adapt to stimulation so as a guide generally do not press the same point for more than 7 consecutive days. After seven days, stop for 3-4 days before continuing.
Item 1 (Called Fengchi in Chinese)
Two points of fact – each located in a depression at the back of your head, the base of your skull, and right side of your neck muscles. Place your fingers on both hands above your head and use your thumb to find and press the two points, one at a time or simultaneously.
Item 2 (Jianjing)
Located in the muscle above the shoulders, halfway between your cervical vertebrae and the outside edge of your shoulder. Use the index and middle fingers of your right hand to press and rub the point on the over your left shoulder. Then, take stock of the right shoulder with your index and middle fingers left.
Item 3 (Hegu)
Located on the backs of both hands, about 3-4cm (1.5 inches) from the edge of the webbing between the forefinger and thumb. Using a technique of pinching by placing your right thumb about the left hand and your right index finger on the palm side of the strap. Then, the exchange process to make your point on the right hand.
Item 4 (Taichong)
Situated on top of two feet, or about 3-4cm (1.5 inches) from the edge of the webbing between your big toe and second. Sit down then bend forward and use your thumb or index finger, then press to rub the point. Another position is sitting with one foot on the opposite knee.
